Due to the Covid-19 crisis we adapted this play for the screen with a tailor-made production, using hybrid elements from theatre and film. This production is a tribute to theatre and was streamed as the premier for the VOD platform Teatrix Mexico.

¿What’s the price to pay for being part of what Shakespeare called the heaven of invention?
A young successful writer returns home after months of absence to face his family’s problems. He finds a problematic daughter with violent outbursts, and a distant, alcoholic and almost insane wife.
The couple faces demons from their past, demons from a family that has been torn apart, and that come to light when they face their child’s custody battle.
The marriage crumbles in a terrible battle in which no one wins.
Heaven of Invention had two seasons in November/December 2020 and January 2021 in Teatrix Mexico, the first digital theatre SVOD and VOD platform.
