El Tianguis is a digital platform where sales and performance come together. El Tianguis is a marketplace, specifically designed to help performing artists, who where forced to create new ways to survive due to the Covid 19 pandemic crisis. El Tianguis opened on December 16th 2020, with an audiovisual piece made by 5 artist/salesmen. Our purpose is to invite all performing artists who are currently going through this same struggle, to sell their products in our platform. We want to strengthen this marketplace with a wider variety of products in order to reach a larger audience/consumers. El Tianguis also aims to become a platform that connects Mexico’s performing artists in a digital community. The only condition to become part of El Tianguis is to make an artistic video in which, through different performing skills, artists invite people to buy their products.
